7.24.09 London.

In Utah, today is a holiday full of excitement and celebration. In London, it is the same type of day for us because it was our first free day in almost 2 weeks! We have all been so burned out and in dire need of some free time and we got it. I slept until I couldn’t sleep anymore and loved not having to be any particular place and free to do what I pleased. The day consisted of sitting in bed blogging and sketching my heart out. It was so nice to catch up and finally get some things done that I’ve been slacking on.

flat #17. home to 13 of us rockin the top floor.

kitchen. not big enough for all of us if you're wondering.

door to our room. notice the glass door and the pathetic used to protect our privacy. people often mistake our room for the bathroom.

me and ashlee's bed. don't worry it squeeks with the slightest movement.

Sitting in bed all day can produce some funky looking pictures and as you’ll see, we all resemble frightening homeless people. We finally got out of bed around 8 o clock or so and decided to get ready enough to go get some food. Did you know that restaurants could reject you? I didn’t. We went to two different restaurants and both times we got the same response, “There’s no room for you. Leave.” I felt like we were putting them out or something and that they really didn’t want us. We found this cute little Italian restaurant that welcomed us we got some great dinner. The most eventful moments of the day were seeing two Ferrari’s in one day and a gorgeous Bentley. These London blokes know how to make my heart pound with their cars. Although today was maybe not the most exciting day, it was well deserved and much needed in order to function next week. Tomorrow is a new day for new adventures and we’ll just have to see where it takes us.

we are a sad homeless yet productive lot.

BJF's forever. (baby jesus fingers. these limp peace signs are found on every madonna and child piece. we took them as our own sign.)

bentley. need i say more?

i snuck these pics right after the steezy man driving this walked off. we wanted to follow him and see where he was going to eat dinner and hang out with him. i hyperventilated just a bit upon seeing this.

my pesto goodness.

as if one wasn't enough for the day, we spotted 2 Ferrari's. mission accomplished.
